The Pit, 7/19/16

by Charity

Someone on the forum suggested that we give ourselves permission to destroy the enclosure without guilt, if we so choose.  I agree with what she was saying. And to paraphrase a couple of our others, if one of us really wanted to do something destructive on the inside, there's nothing to stop us. It's why we don't lock up destructive insiders any more. Forced containment no longer works for us.

So while I know it would help for me to give myself permission to destroy the enclosure, I won't do it. The pit is in an otherwise pitch-black clearing in the tunnel system, and the enclosure is painted with glow-in-the-dark paint. The enclosure needs to be there, to keep people from running into it--or worse, falling in.
