Today's appointment with the breast doctor turned out to be only an exam. He does biopsies on Wednesdays. (Shrug.) It's scheduled for 7/27. No vitamins, supplements, blood thinners, or NSAIDs for a week beforehand. We don't take blood thinners, and we usually don't take NSAIDs either, although we have taken Aleve recently for our shoulder [which has healed nicely--Allegra].
We asked the doctor if underarm shaving could lead to enlarged lymph nodes, and he said it could, as could infection or pet dander. We haven't been around any animals, but we have shaved (TMI?), and we've had who-knows-what germs in our system with this stupid cold. Whatever. Most biopsies have benign results, he said, so we should try not to worry.
After we got home, Charity, with Allegra's help, caught up on our mail and our finances. I was on nose-blowing duty. :-P Charity's effort was supposed to be an act of good faith, to reduce the perception that she's a drag on the system, or not living up to normal adult responsibilities. Do I take it as such? F*ck no. Sue me.
