I was gonna call this post "Mammogram F/U," but then thought better of it. :-P Ohwell.
We went to the GP today for our semi-annual checkup. He already had his copy of the mammo/sono results. We told him that we were headed to pick up the films and take them to the breast doctor's office right after we were done seeing him (the GP).
The GP did his usual thing, blood pressure, stethoscope, blood sample for routine tests, yadda yadda yadda. Given the armpit situation, he did a cursory examination by touch of that area, but said that he didn't feel anything enlarged. We asked him if shaving the underarm would cause irritation that would affect the sono results. He said that if there was an infection it might. Ultimately, though, we know that the breast doctor is the expert, but we were still curious as to what the GP thought.
So. Films are at the breast doctor. And we wait.
