Updates to our website, which we're doing behind the scenes, are painfully slow. We had this cockamamie (sp?) idea of revamping four pages a day so that we could finish updating all 118 pages in 30 days. But it's not just the pages themselves; a lot of the graphics have to be significantly tweaked, and many have to change format. We're lucky if we do one page a day, let alone four.
(L: If we didn't have to work, we'd have all the time in the world.)
(A: But we do have to work, and that's non-negotiable.)
It's hard not to be down on ourselves for waiting for four years to start working on this again. But our father's health, stress at work, hard stuff in T, the onset of menopause....We need to stop holding ourself up to this impossibly perfect standard. We're not Superwoman and never will be.
We should be in bed now. But we want to be faithful with blogging, so we're here. Tomorrow is T. We're not sure who's going to talk to her. Deborah needs a break; it was hard enough for her those two consecutive weeks that she did talk. And we're not sure whether Charity's ready to talk again.
Sometimes we just have to be patient. Easier said than done.
