Mammogram, 7/3/17

by Laura

Today was our annual boob-squashing.  And sonogram, because we have "dense tissue," although we read somewhere that dense tissue becomes less dense after menopause.  Whatever.  For you male-bodied folks, imagine getting your giblets caught in a dresser drawer.

The good thing was that this time, they didn't have to take a gazillion extra boob-squashes because of the density.  Even the necessary squashing is Not Fun, although it's far easier to take than the southern-hemisphere alternative.  Another good thing was that both of the techs were easy to deal with.  We told this year's sono tech that last year's sono tech had all the empathy of a tree stump.

So, knock on wood, we'll find out in three business days that everything's okay.
