Several people in our system have pets on the inside--these animals are not system members, but pets of system members. The inside pets are the pets that we never got to have on the outside...for any length of time, anyway.
Including david's border collie RUFF, there are....let's see, among the pets inside: Sophie's beagle Kipper, nell's dalmatian puppy Spoti Dog, alyssa's orange cat Fantim, Christine's Persian cat Youse (rhymes with "house")....david is five, Sophie is eight, nell is three, alyssa is five, and Christine is eight and a half. All of their pets are male, including Christine's cat, even though Christine herself doesn't like men.
We have two old retired rottweiler guard dogs, Gobble and Chomp; one is male, the other is female, but we can't remember which. One of the rotts belongs to lila (7) and the other belongs to brooke (5); again, we can't remember which. There are four current guard dogs, but we don't consider them pets.
Aurora17 (not to be confused with Aurora13) and Nona (11) each have a horse. Aurora17 lives in an isolated cabin and keeps her horse in a small barn near there; Nona keeps hers in a different barn closer to the house. We don't know the name, gender, or breed of either of the horses, as Aurora17 and Nona generally don't talk.
willow (5.5) sits under a willow tree with an undomesticated wolf who serves as her protector.
And lastly, josie (6) has a semi-domesticated skunk named Stinky. She's not supposed to keep him in the house, but she sneaks him into the basement most of the time, and the rest of us pretend not to know.
Too much information?
