Fellow multiple: Does anyone have experience with this? like letting severely traumatized alters share their stuff with the rest of the system? will the system be strong enough t deal with it or will be be destroyed if we try?
A couple of years ago I decided that it would be in our entire system's best interest for others who were burdened by "overflow" of trauma from me to them to return the feelings/memories back to me. It was disastrous. :-/
We have no way of knowing what truly originated with whom. All we know is that there's so much confusion on so many levels that my attempt to "fix" things only made it worse. Well-intentioned, but misguided.
We hope that you can get help from your therapist in dealing with this.
