We had a good T session last night. Toward the end, she asked me/us if I felt hopeful at all, and I answered, "Cautiously hopeful." I don't think I should have put it that way, because I feel far more cautious than hopeful.
I felt like I was able to become grounded in session, but it's hard to maintain the groundedness. I don't want to fall back into the pit of despair. But I don't feel nearly secure enough to maintain a grounded feeling. I keep feeling the same triggered feelings....fear, shame, anger. I want to keep isolating, but I know that isolating makes things worse.
