[Based on what we posted today on our Twitter account, in response to a friend's experience of co-consciousness.]
We've always been co-con, but not as much as we thought. Cuz a lot of us didn't know ourselves very well. For us, part of being multiple is idealizing ourselves so that we can maintain an inner reality that feels safe to us.
But eventually, those behaviors cease to help us, and we have to get to know the real "us" (individual and group) to move forward. That's where we are now. We can't hide inside. Our inner world is still there, but it's harder to retreat to there.
