Our
56th birthday is 1/4/18. Not much has changed, except that we have a
year's less time left. We're still discouraged, often plagued with dark
thoughts and feelings of hopelessness. We're trying to keep our
promise to to interact with outside people more, but it's difficult.
[In the online multiple community] people understand. The world at large is not as understanding. People
in general have no idea what it's like to live the life we live, and if
they do, they either don't want to think about it, or they don't care.
We want a better quality of life, but we feel so overwhelmed and powerless.
