We ended up replacing CCleaner with Auslogics Registry Cleaner, first on B2's machine and then on ours. We've been using the Auslogics Disk Defragmenter for years, and the Registry Cleaner was highly rated on CNet and other places. For those who look down their noses, proverbial and/or otherwise, we don't care. It does what we want it to do, and does it well, and we have enough sense to always do Custom Install and skip the bloatware.
B1 called us again today, but we had nothing to report, because it's up to Rachel to describe how her T session went this past Wednesday. No more hiding behind a potted plant, proverbial and/or otherwise.
We need some new metaphors.
