no longer helps us, so we no longer do it. They know that ultimately
we'd rather not lock anyone up, so they take the energy from our point
of view and use that energy to resist all restraints.
Insiders
who frighten and intimidate do so to exert control. Whether this
control is for the purpose of protecting or simply for looking out for their
own interests first, they see intimidation as the only/best way to meet
this need. We speak from experience, and we deal with this issue
currently.
As we see it, the only truly beneficial solution is
for the insider in question to learn that these behaviors and the
attitude behind them are no longer beneficial. This is an arduous
process, but the end result is a better alternative than continuing to
live with dysfunction and pain.
